2014

Hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas, New Years, and Three Kings day.

Looking on to 2014 with hopeful dreams and wishes. 

Staying positive and remembering that even if it rains, the sun will reappear and the flowers will bloom even more brightly.    

An elf and some sweets

My sister and I had some fun with clay during the Thanksgiving weekend. Spent the time decorating the house with all sorts of Christmas decorations. 

I made and painted the tiny elf while she made the candy tree. The elf O SO wishes to get the cherry up at the tippy top. 

Winter is coming...

Winter girl's first print out is all ready and dressed with her warm red beanie on this minty green card.

Comic Cover

 Here's a preview sample of the cover of what I now officially like to call: "Compass Crossing."

I always get so excited each time I finish a page, but can't wonder off too much, since I still have more pages that needs to be finished.

Compass Coming

Roughs and sketches of a comic I'm working on through StoryBuilder for the app NARR8.

The story it self has had so many different titles that I don't remember them all, but the working title so far is "Compass" which I am starting to warm up to more and more. 

Things are still in the rough stages with only a few cleaned drawings being scanned and colored in photoshop. Will try to remember to update more when I can.

Dressed up

Worked on decorating a guest book for a friend's quinceanera party that was themed Phantom of the Opera. Made the book completely sparkle with the shimmering dress popping out from its cover.

                           

                   

Feeling Super

I have returned to the ink drawings I did, before I left for my Euro Trip. Here is Wonder Woman, but I also have Super Girl and Zatanna. I am working on coloring WonderWoman and when I get the other two cleaned up and get through some projects I have on my to do list, then I will post and start the colors for them as well.

Summer Pattern

Have not been able to post anything new due to no connection until now.
Lately I have been working on patterns; Here is one that was inspired by summer fun at the beach.

A Long awaited post

Have not been able to post anything until now, been busy moving things and rearranging my stuff ever since graduation. I will soon scan a few new drawing, but until I take my scanner out of the box here are a few things that I have been working on during the past busy months. Enjoy!

Two illustrations based on the fairy tale of "Prince Omar and Princess Scheherazade".
From my thesis entitled "Visual Eloquence" where I made illustrations from different fairy tails.

Another illustration I did for thesis, but this one was based on the classic fairy tale "Undine". 

Below is a sketch and illustration from a children book of my own I have been working on for the past few months. 

The Show

Finally the day of the thesis show came (and sadly went). 

The long journey filled with endless days of working, and many other memories, feels like it is at last coming to a close. But as one chapter closes another begins, and from each step of the way those moments will never be forgotten. I have to thank everyone who has ever helped me, inspired me, and guided me through out this adventure. 

I guess now the time has come to walk onto the path into the big world filled with new obstacles and new quests. It will be hard but as long as I keep everything to heart and keep strong and smile on everything will be fine.

Scarf Girls

With the weather here being really random (from hot to cold within a day) and after finally recovering from a cold I decided to post a simple doodle I like to call the Scarf Girls.
